| Description | Republican Co-President John Bennett is running for re-election under a cloud of scandal and a flurry of Democratic attacks.
Though he survived a primary challenge rather easily, he is facing a very tough opponent in Ellen Karcher, the Daughter of former Assembly Speaker Alan Karcher who won a bitter primary against Oceanport Mayor Gordon Gemma.
It remains to be seen how much support George Norcross III, who supported Gemma in the primary, gives Karcher in the general election. |
