DescriptionGabriela Mosquera did not meet the residency requirement of living in the Assembly district in which she was running for one year prior to the election. Shelly Lovett filed a suit after the election saying that Mosquera should not be seated; a superior court and the N.J. Supreme Court ruled that Mosquera could not be seated. [Link]
