Description | Volyn Region or Volynia (Volyns�ka oblast� in Ukrainian) is the most northwestern administrative district of present-day Ukraine bordering Belarus to the north and Poland to the west. The capital of the oblast is Luts'k (Łuck). Kovel (Kowel) is the most westernly town and terminus of the Ukrainian rail line that runs from Warsaw through to Kyiv. |
