Senator Lindsey is serving his seventh term in the Senate. Born on March 17, 1936, in Meridian, Mississippi, he received his B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Alabama and also graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law. Senator Lindsey and is the parent of five children: Lori, Patrick, Tara, Amy, and Brandon. He is an attorney, Democrat, Methodist, a member of the Alabama and American Bar Association, the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Alabama Alumni Association. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and coaching youth baseball and football in his spare time.
