Info | Just in time for his first day of kindergarten at Hopatcong Borough Schools, Anthony Fasano and his family moved to Sussex County in 1999. He graduated from Hopatcong High School, as Class President, in 2012 and went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Montclair State University in 2016 with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in both Management and Marketing. During his time at Montclair State, Anthony also served various roles in the Student Government Association and as the Student Representative on The Montclair State University Board of Trustees where he was elected to represent all 20,000+ students in the board's decisions. He also is the Director of Business Development for Eaton Hall Exhibitions in Florham Park and is a member of the Young Leadership Council for Project Self-Sufficiency based in Newton.
Anthony got his start in public service shortly after high school when he was elected to The Hopatcong Board of Education in 2013 at 19 years old. There he served in various roles including Policy Committee Chairman, Public Relations Committee Chairman, Vice President and President which he held for the final four years of his tenure. During his time on the board Hopatcong Schools implemented full-day kindergarten, a district-wide laptop initiative, massive security enhancements, new leadership and new student offerings while the district saw improvement without any tax increases during his presidency. Anthony was elected to The Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 2019 where he has pledged to focus on the future of Sussex County.
