InfoRep. Bryan Spencer, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles and Warren counties (District 63) in the Missouri House of Represetatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2012.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Spencer was a teacher for 22 years & prior to his election taught in the Francis Howell School District. He has also worked other jobs congruent to his teaching. These included: Adaptive Daily living Instructor at the Lighthouse of the Blind, Alcohol Compliance Officer/Training in Prevention Services, Instructor for Aramark Sports and Entertainment Inc., and an Education Consultant for Metropolitan Psychiatric Center.
Rep. Spencer has been awarded numerous awards including: 2011 Francis Howell School District- Hall of Fame, 2011 Francis Howell North High School- SEAM Award, and 2008 Outstanding Young Educator of the Year (Bridgeton/Maryland Heights Junior Chamber of Commerce). He is also a member of the Wentzville Church of Christ, Saint Charles County Central Committee- O’Fallon Township, Jaycees (St. Peters, Wentzville/Lake St. Louis, Mission Inn, and Bridgeton/Maryland Heights), Masonic Lodge- Polar Star Rose Hill #79, and the Lewis and Clark Pachyderms. Rep. Spencer has served as past president of the Jaycees (Wentzville/Lake St. Louis and St Peters), and the Lewis and Clark Pachyderms.
A 1986 graduate of Rolla High, Rep. Spencer earned his Maters of Administration/ Education from University of Missouri –Saint Louis (2001), and his Bachelor of Science in Social Science/Education from Culver-Stockton College (1989).
Born September 25, 1967, in Rolla, Representative Spencer currently lives in Wentzville.
