| Info | Hello, my name is Daniel Elliott and I’m running to be the Republican nominee for our next Indiana State Treasurer.
I’m the Chairman of the Morgan County Republican Party, President of the Morgan County Redevelopment Commission, former Morgan County Councilman, the owner of a software company in Martinsville, proud husband to my wife, Laura, and the father of four.
Public Service
Daniel serves as President of the Morgan County Redevelopment Commission, where he works to create economic development opportunities in Morgan county.
Serving his community in this role, he has learned the importance of developing infrastructure for our local communities.
As a County Councilman, he joined his fellow councilman in leading a county government of more than 350 employees. Daniel has seen firsthand the challenges local elected officials face.
Private Sector Experience
After many years working as a software architect in the technology sector, Daniel started his own software company. Daniel knows first-hand the needs our rural counties face when it comes to ensuring that we have broadband across our state. Moreover, as the owner of a small business, Daniel knows very much the need for government transparency and cutting through the red tape of government
Republican Leader
Daniel has served as the chairman of the Morgan County Republican party for eight years and is currently serving in his ninth year.
Daniel has taken on the Liberal Left and held Republican friends accountable during his tenure as County Chair.
