Info | Bev grew up on the outskirts of Ottawa, Ontario, and took her first fulltime work with Atomic Energy of Canada. From there Bev moved into sales of vacuum and semiconductor scientific equipment for a period of ten years, and then opened her own vacuum scientific company selling a complete product line from Europe and the United States to various Canadian government departments and industries.
Bev closed her company down, and moved to Nelson, BC in 1991 to write a book on her experiences on selling to the Mulroney government.
Bev began to bring speakers out west to inform residents of what was happening in Ottawa.
Bev ran in her first federal election in 1993 in the riding of Kootenay West Revelstoke for Mel Hurtig and the National Party of Canada.
After the election, Bev remained political and became a researcher, writer and political speaker, and toured western Canada and the United States speaking on trade and sovereignty issues.
Bev became a guest and host for dozens of radio shows and hosted her own political radio show called The Turning Point out of Nelson for a season.
Bev ran again federally in 1997 and 2000 for Paul Hellyer and the Canadian Action Party in the riding Kootenay Boundary Okanagan.
