| Info | Freeholder Vohden was sworn in as a first term member of the Board of Chosen Freeholders in January, 2011. Rich has three grown children and has been together with his wife Faith for almost 30 years.
Freeholder Vohden has served in Green Township for 15 years as Chairman of the Environmental Commission, 14 years as a member of the Planning Board and a member and past Chairman of the Open Space Committee. The last 7 years he has served as Chairman of the Sussex County Open Space Committee, 7 years as a member and past Chairman of the Sussex County Planning Board, a member of the County Strategic Growth Committee, and was First Vice Chair of the Sussex County Republican Committee for 2009-2010.
Freeholder Vohden is a Veteran, having served in Korea. He is a member of the VFW, the Sons of the American Revolution, Green Historical Society, NJ Farm Bureau, NJ Forestry Association, ANJEC, NRA, and NJLM. He is active in the agricultural community and is a Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor.
