A tireless campaigner for the rights of the disabled, Morris was the world's first Minister for the Disabled and introduced a wide varity of legislation on the subject include the landmark Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act. He also campaigned on behalf of suffers of Haemophilia who had contracted HIV and Hepatitis as a result of contaminated blood donations and for suffers of Gulf War Syndrome.
