InfoPeter McQueen is a 43 year old father of three young children living in the St-Raymond section of NDG since 1999. He grew up in NDG in an anglophone household but learned french at school. Like many Montrealers he spent his young adult years on the Plateau riding his bicycle and being a member of Communauto, only buying his first car when his children were born.

His experience in environmental organizations began with Le Monde à Bicyclette with Bob Silverman and Claire Morisette. He continues to be a member of Cyclo Nord-Sud which Claire Morisette founded. He also supported the work of Normand Parisien at Transport 2000.

In the last 5 years, Peter McQueen has become increasingly active in the NDG community. He has led the fight against the seriously flawed MUHC traffic plan around the Vendome metro station. He is actively working for better bicycle paths and public transportation throughout west end Montreal.

Peter McQueen graduated from Concordia university in economics and liberal arts in 1986. He worked for 8 years in computer tabulation and has been self employed in real estate for the last 12 years. He joined the Green Party of Quebec in 2006 and became the candidate for NDG in 2007.
