Info | Eldon Lautermilch was born and raised in rural Sask. Eldon currently resides with his wife Loretta in Emma Lake. They have three children. Since 1970, he and his family have operated a business in Prince Albert.
Eldon was first elected to the legislature in 1986 representing the Prince Albert-Duck Lake constituency. He was re-elected in 1991, 1995, 1999, and 2003 representing the Prince Albert Northcote constituency.
In September 1992, Eldon Lautermilch was first appointed to cabinet as Minister of Natural Resources and Minister of Rural Development. Since that time Eldon has held numerous portfolios including Energy and Mines, Economic and Co-operative Development, and Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Affairs.
Eldon is currently Minister of Highways & Transportation and Saskatchewan Property Management. He is also the Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Transportation Company and the newly formed Forestry Secretariat.
