| Info | As a Certified Management Accountant with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Fred Tilley has that additional ambition that will help to best serve and represent Cape Breton North.
Fred is heavily involved with community development and supporting initiatives. He was elected as a board member for Cape Breton Victoria Regional School Board and is Chair of the Food and Beverage-Canadian Cancer Society relay for life. Fred is also on the Community Council for Junior Achievement for Cape Breton and is a board member of New Deal Development. In addition, Fred is treasurer for the Sydney and Area Chamber of Commerce.
Fred has influenced many areas of his community and surrounding area as Academic Chair-School of Business and Applied Arts New Media at Nova Scotia Community College, Marconi Campus.
Growth and development for his constituency is one of Fred’s main motivators. He has achieved tremendous success at the school board level and wishes to make greater contribution at the MLA level. Recreation facilities, strip mining and energy costs are shared concerns by both Fred and his constituents.
Fred’s teammates of support are his wife Jean and daughter Emily.
