| Info | Jim Stewart is proud to be the Liberal candidate for Nanaimo-Alberni.
Mr. Stewart has been a realtor with Coast Realty for eleven years and is an incoming director of the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board. He has served as a member of Government Relations committee of the British Columbia Real Estate Association for the past five years.
An active member of his community, Mr. Stewart was one of the directors of the YES Committee for the 2004 referendum on the New Nanaimo Centre downtown development and has been president of the Nanaimo Hornets Rugby Football Club for four years.
Mr. Stewart is passionate about politics and has been active in federal and provincial politics on Vancouver Island for over ten years.
Mr. Stewart has lived and worked in Nanaimo since 1993. He is married to Cathie and they have a daughter Jennifer and grandson Jamison.
