yeah, I think the process here is gonna be "if Zuckerman wins, he replaces DPW and then gets switched to Progressive" but since he could potentially win both primaries, having primary winner races for both parties could potentially lead to him being on here twice and having to be removed/re-added.
So that's the thing I try to do with New York races where one candidate could win both races, the larger party gets Primary Winner and the smaller ones don't

As for the post about Lang and Scieontology, there was an article in 2017 [Link] with quotes from Lang in 2012.
The story hops from Lang reading 3 chapters of Dianetics, saying he gets mailers/calls every week, saying he didn't want to pay for stuff, and then mentioning he spent 6 hours a day for a month in a sauna doing the purification rundown.
Officially, I think the most famous Scientologist Trumper is still Joy Villa.

A lot of political communication is done indirectly these days. Although it probably doesn't hurt to look good on TV and to have no obvious electoral liabilities.

The @SiouxCityXs were in need of pitching, prompting manager @Mongoxs55 to make a call to the bullpen like never before.
Taking the mound for Sioux City: Iowa State Representative J.D. Scholten!
Tune in to @kcautv at 6 for our newest Sports Spotlight!
He had a quality start. 6 2/3 innings pitched, 2 runs allowed, 2 strikeouts/1 walk, 7 hits. He received the win.
Aside from spending time pitching in the Dutch league (Honkbal Hoofdklasse) last year, Scholten had last pitched in 2007.

all the old French races off of French Wikipedia reminds me of how the efforts to put Japanese results on here sorta stopped partly because I found it took a lot of time to try transliterating candidate names from Japanese to English

yeah, the thing about partial dates in the entry/exit fields will pop up a few times. January 1st feels like a workable enough "full date" if you don't know the actual date.

I like how you can figure out where the Quad Cities media market is based off the deviation map (except for 2 counties where Harkin didn't win the deviation). I guess Quincy/Hannibal/Keokuk wasn't as much of a hot market for Iowa elected officials.
Not sure what happened with the one Eastern Illinois County where Harkin topped his statewide % more than anywhere else.

congrats to all the candidates already on our site due to their nonpartisan races who were upgraded (downgraded?) to having partisan affiliations because they're running for the MN State House this year
also the process of 134 races is sped up a little by all the districts without primaries, especially if it's a rematch from 2022.

one thing I realized quickly in the whole races/maps sorting is that there were a few parts of the process and it went a lot smoother to just all of one thing at a time instead of trying to change all the map/race dates in one constituency at a time
(in other words, change all the district race term dates, then map dates, then race dates)

Traficant was in Prison for one of his candidacies. There's a candidate or two that just coincidentally never runs for a state office.
Pretty sure that we've already had a case about states and their ability to add provisions for federal races.
