| Description |
The Tippecanoe County School Board is planning to sell $10 million in bonds to pay for school improvements. However, Indiana state law permits property taxpayers to petition the school board in order to stop the sell of bonds. Each side has thirty days to collect as many signatures as they can supporting their side. The signatures must be of property taxpayers who live within the school cooperation's tax base. Which ever side obtains the most signatures wins.
(A Yes to the Remonstrance means no to the bonds. A No to the Remonstrance means yes to the bonds)
