Description |
The American Party, led by ex-Governor William Sulzer, planned to endorse Democrat Samuel Seabury for governor. The party left the task of filing petitions to the Democratic Party, which later claimed to forgotten to have done so. As a result, American Party members were told to write in their candidate at the primary.
