| Description | A rural riding located along the U.S. border in SE Saskatchewan, Estevan has an economy based primarily on mixed farming, oil and gas production, and coal mining. The purebred cattle industry is prominent. This riding is a major source of electricity with the Boundary dam and Shand power stations. Oil and gas servicing industry provides additional (off-farm) employment.
Major communities include Estevan, Bienfait, Midale, Goodwater, and Radvill. |
