| Info | Dave Wilson has lived in Sackville for 28 years. For the last eight years, has worked in the community as a paramedic. In 2003 he became the new NDP MLA for Sackville Cobequid. In addition to the valuable contribution he makes as a front-line health care worker, Dave also contributes to the community through his volunteer work with local organizations.
He has been a volunteer firefighter with the Sackville Fire Department and with HRM fire and Emergency Services and a very active community volunteer providing medical treatment at community events and information on the emergency health system to elementary students, Boy Scouts and Girl Guide groups. Dave has also volunteered with the Nova Scotia Firefighters Burn Treatment Society and is an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Calais Branch 162, Lower Sackville. Dave and his wife Penney have two young children.
