| Info | A first time candidate, Bala Thavarajasoorier understands the challenges faced by working families in Ajax-Pickering.
Since coming to Canada in 1988, Bala has made Ajax his home and has worked diligently as a volunteer to help make his community a better place. As a counselor at local crisis centres and a member of the Ajax High School and Lord Durham Community Councils, Bala has seen the need for a provincial government that works cooperatively to build successful communities. Whether it’s providing the necessary resources for healthcare, or giving our schools the tools they need to empower our children, Bala and the Ontario NDP know that the working families of Ajax-Pickering deserve a fair deal.
A married father of two, Bala is committed to a better future for our children. He will be a strong and effective voice at Queen’s Park, standing up for fairness for hard-working families.
