| Description | Vince Polistina has carefully spent his 2 years in Trenton carefully walking the centrist tight rope.
In November, Polistina would have faced off against Victor Carmona, a Pleasantville Councilman. A hypothetical Democratic victory runs through the heavily black cities of Pleasantville, and Atlantic City, so Democrats weren't playing any games with this recruitment. The presence of a Libertarian candidate further complicates the math for Polistina.
Still despite this, Polistina has proven popular the Labor groups that dominate South Jersey, which give him the slight upper hand this cycle.
Carmona was replaced by Caren Fitzpatrick as the Democratic nominee.
Peck suspended his campaign on October 20 but his name remains on the ballot. |
