| Description | President Kaïs Saïed on July 17, 2020 asked Tunisia's parties, coalitions, and parliamentary blocs to submit by the end of the work day on July 22, 2020 their proposed candidates to succeed Elyes Al-Fakhfakh as Prime Minister.
Hichemi Mechichi was nominated Prime Minister by the President on July 26, 2020 and had the support of the largest party in Parliament, Ennadha.
