Description

On Primary Day, Republican Councilman Louis DiPasquale filed with Democrat-turned-Republican Alexandra Chirinos to run as Independents in the 2009 general election. DiPasquale also switched his party affiliation from Republican to Independent. However, DiPasquale dropped out of the race on September 4th, leaving Chirinos as the sole Independent candidate.
