Description

Democratic Incumbent Phyllis Ranko Matheny lost the Democratic nomination to challenger Jury Commissioner Judith Fisher.

No Republican filed for the Republican primary and Matheny and Fisher waged write-in campaigns to win the GOP nomination. The Incumbent Democrat Matheny won the GOP nomination

Essentially this is a General election with two Democrats. Matheny has stated she will remain a Democrat.

This is a virtual repeat of the previous General Election.
