Description | In the election of 1922, the Democrats rebounded from their disastrous showing in 1920. They won 21 of the regular elections and two special elections, for a net gain of five. The Farmer Labor Party took Minnesota away from the Republicans, who therefore lost a net of six seats. The new party breakdown was Republicans 51, Democrats 43, Other 2. |
