Description | Nominations:
Ken Prazak nominated Russell Means (declined nomination and endorsed Marrou)
Sevier White nominated Robert Murphy (declined nomination)
David Bergland nominated Andre Marrou, seconded by Tonie Nathan and Michael Emerling
Murphy had previously contacted Frank Zappa weeks before the convention to encourage him to consider seeking the vice presidential nomination, though in the end the two decided it was too late to commit and his name was not entered into nomination.
Ron Paul spoke and enthusiastically endorsed Marrou for his running mate.
Nominations closed with one candidate and Marrou elected without opposition. |
