DescriptionFar-right party launched at first as an NGO in 2000 called the Christian Forum Square University Association, becoming the New Right Christian Forum in 2015. Party identifies itself as neo-legionary (supporters of the Nazi-allied League of Christian National Defense founded by Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, who also founded the Iron Guard or the Legion of Archangel Michael or the Legionary Movement, aka, 'Green Shirts') and a proponent of clerical fascism popularized in the early 1920s in Italy by priest Luigi Sturzo. Party is led by Tudor Ionescu [Noua Dreapta (ND)].
