| Description | Center-right party formed as a vehicle for the presidential ambitions of the 6th Prime Minister of Togo, Agbéyomé Kodjo. Kodjo had earlier launched the Organisation pour bâtir dans l'union un Togo solidaire (OBUTS), using it ahead of the 2010 presidential election. The MPDD was established ahead of his second try in 2020. Party picked up two seats in the 91-seat National Assembly in December 20, 2018 [Mouvement patriotique pour la démocratie et le développement (MPDD)]. |
