Description | Centrist party founded by attorney Gabriel Suri with a focus on protecting indigenous rights and reviving Christian values on the Islands. Party was reformed under the stewardship of MP Matthew Wale beginning in 2011, who became leader of the opposition in April 2019. Party joined in alliance with its former leader Rick Houenipwela's Democratic Alliance Party to create the Coalition for Accountability Reform and Empowerment (CARE) on February 4, 2024 ahead of elections to the National Parliament in 2024 |
