Description | Right-of-center coalition led by KORWiN and the National Movement (Ruch Narodowy, RN), begun as the "Pro-Polish Coalition" and rebranded on July 25, 2019 as the coalition "Confederation Liberty and Independence" (Konfederacja Wolność i Niepodległość). Coalition was co-founded by entrepreneur Sławomir Mentzen, and MP and 2020 presidential candidate Krzysztof Bosak. Coalition features six parties within it; the National Movement, New Hope, the Confederation of the Polish Crown, the Party of Drivers, the Union of Christian Families and the National League. Coalition supports a reduction of most taxes and the elimination of the income tax, school vouchers and a stronger effort against a sudden spike in crime nationally. Coalition picked up 10 seats in the 460-seat Sjem in 2019. |
