| Description | Center-left ruling coalition formalized on May 16, 2018 until it collapsed upon Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad's departure on March 1, 2020. Alliance was conceived as a direct successor to the three-party Pakatan Rakyat which dissolved on June 16, 2015. Alliance was greatly enhanced by the entrance of Mahathir Mohamad's Malaysian United Indigenous Party on December 13, 2016 and was swept up to power on May 10, 2018. The Alliance collapsed to three parties (the Democratic Action Party, the People's Justice Party and the National Trust Party) after Mahathir's fall and saw its parliamentary strength reduced by 37 seats.
