| Description | Conservative Turkish-Kosovar party founded by Turkish-nationalist Mahir Yağcılar, a former Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning in Kosovo. Party began as the Turkish Democratic Union (Türk Demokratik Birliği), changing its name to the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo on June 20, 2001. Party is based and is most active in the municipality of Mamusha, an area known for its large Turkish-Kosovar population. Party Chairman is Fikrim Damka [Kosova Demokratik Türk Partisi (KDTP)]. |
