Description | Monarchist party which adheres to the rights of the dynastic succession of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. Party supports the non-violent return through referendum of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine to rule over a newly-restored Czech state as a union of the old Kingdom of Bohemia, the Margraviate of Moravia and the Duchy of Silesia. Party is the oldest active in the Czech Republic since the Velvet Revolution begun November 17, 1989, which signified the end of the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia. Party began as the Czech Children Movement founded by dissident Petr Placák in mid-1988. Party is currently led by biologist and MP Radim Špaček [Koruna Česká - Monarchistická strana Čech, Moravy a Slezska; Czech Crown - Monarchist party of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia)]. |
