Description | Militant Czech-nationalist, anti-Roma party founded by Jan Broj. Party is considered a successor to the Workers' Party, which was banned on February 17, 2010 for extremist tendencies. New party espoused anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-NATO views, allying itself with the principlist movement in Iran, and rallying on behalf of the 6th Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Party was led and chaired by Tomáš Vandas, a representative of the city of Bílina and former leader of the banned Workers' Party. Party participated in European elections held in 2024 and regional and Senate elections held in the same year. Party self-dissolved on December 31, 2024 by vote of its internal Congress of Delegates on October 19, 2024, moving all of its assets to a new proposed party SAFE STREETS (BEZPEČNÉ ULICE, BU) [Dělnická strana sociální spravedlnosti (DSSS)]. |
