| Description | Center-left, Moldova-nationalist party strongly supportive of the Russian Federation. Party is led by Moldova's 5th President Igor Dodon (December 23, 2016 – December 24, 2020). Party has led the 2nd largest faction in Parliament (at 22 seats) and the largest in the Chisinau Municipal Council. Party joined in union with the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM) on May 13, 2021, forming the Electoral Bloc of Communists and Socialists (or BECS), and has participated in all contests as one unit with the Communist Party since [Partidul Socialiștilor din Republica Moldova (PSRM); Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova]. |
