| Description | Center-left party begun as a personal platform of Ramiro González Jaramillo, a former prefect of the Province of Pichincha and minister in the government of Rafael Correa. González's conviction for tax fraud and flight from Ecuador in 2017 forced the restructuring of the party, an effort led by Javier Orti, the party's president since September 2021. Party picked up two seats after legislative elections held on February 7, 2021. Party joined the Let's Take Action alliance (alianza Actuemos), a vehicle supporting the 2023 presidential ambitions of former Ecuador vice president Otto Sonnenholzner [Partido Político Avanza (PPA)]. |
