| Description | German-Swiss radical-left party active in the cantons of Zürich and Schaffhausen. Party was formed by members of the dissolved militant association POCH which was linked to Daniel Cohn-Bendit and the left-wing student movement of May 68 in France. Party allies itself on the federal level with SolidaritéS (SolidarityS) and the Swiss Labor Party. Party has focused its energies recently in Bern, Switzerland's de facto capital, calling itself Alternave Linke (Alternative Left) Bern, and holds one seat in the Bern Council (aka, Alternate Liste). |
