DescriptionProtest movement founded by activist Karsten Holt Larsen begun as "Vejle Kommune Først" (Vejle Municipality First) in 2013, established just ahead of Velje municipality Regional Council elections that year. Larsen then launched Jutland First before settling on Denmark First in 2021. Larsen decided to launch the movement after a long campaign of letter-writing and open-air debating. Larsen's main complaint is that merged political parties have become completely closed to democratic influence, are self-serving and out of touch with common people. Larsen also decries the lackadaisical 'non-efforts' of the Vejle Kommune police, and demands that the municipality's law enforcement be privatized [Danmark Først (DF)].
