| Description | Right-of-center party led and founded by 2024 presidential candidate and former Freedom and Justice MP Remigijus Žemaitaitis. Party began as a faction of the Freedom and Justice party with a base in the port city of Klaipėda. Party adopts the name of the 1953 Soviet art film "Dawn near the Nemunas" (Aušra prie Nemuno), which glorified collective farming in Lithuania. The Nemunas is the Lithuanian name for the Neman River Delta. Party was registered with the Interior Ministry on January 16, 2024 [Nemuno aušra (NA)]. |
