| Description | Center-left, pacifist party led and co-founded by the current ambassador to the United States (since September 8, 2021), Luis Gilberto Murillo. Murillo formed Colombia Renaciente upon the establishment of the Ancestral Community Council of Black Communities Renaissance Beach (Playa Renaciente), which obtained a seat for a special Afro-descendant constituency in the House of Representatives. This allowed him to register and forward 246 candidates outside of the constituency via the new party. Party advances the principles of Ubuntu, an African philosophy of community service [Columbia Renaissance]. |
