| Description | Political nuance assigned by France's Ministry of Interior to classify extreme left candidates supported by a party that does not have its own 'shade' (a total of 18 shades were assigned in 2022; 17 in 2017). These candidates were assembled under the "Miscellaneous Extreme Left" nuance and shade ahead of legislative elections which took place on June 12 and June 19, 2022. Those parties assembled under the "Miscellaneous Extreme Left" nuance in 2022 were; Nouveau Parti Anticapitaliste, Lutte Ouvrière, Parti Ouvrier Indépendants, and individual non-party candidates identifying themselves as extreme left. Designations were made official and enforceable by France's Ministry of Interior on May 13, 2022 [Divers extrême gauche (DXG)]. |
