| Description | Center-right Muhajir Province movement (meaning 'Immigrant Province') which seeks to represent the Muhajir people in Sindh. Muhajir are Muslim refugees from India. Party was formed by Muhajir advocate and former Mayor of Karachi Farooq Sattar Altaf Hussain after he and other dissidents split from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (founded in 1984) in 2016. New party chose to keep the Muttahida Qaumi Movement logo, and just added "P" for Pakistan [متحدہ قومی موومنٹ (پاکستان) Muttaḥidah Qọ̄mī Mūwmaṅṫ- Pakistan (MQM-P)] Not to be confused with the MUTTAHIDA QAUMI MOVEMENT. |
