| Description | Danish right-wing political party founded by former MP, former Minister of Immigration and former Deputy Leader of Venstre Inger Støjberg. Støjberg was forced out of Venstre after being successfully impeached. Eight members of the Danish People's Party joined Støjberg at launching, giving the new party an instant presence with eight seats in the Folketing beginning on July 28, 2022. Party calls itself "borgerlig" (conservative) and seeks immigration policy reform and a dramatic housecleaning of Denmark's bureaucracy. [Danmarksdemokraterne (DD); also named after its founder and leader in official filings as Danmarksdemokraterne – Inger Støjberg]. |
