| Description | Electoral alliance of three regionalist, center-right parties split from the Union of Greens and Farmers (Zaļo un Zemnieku savienība, ZZS). Alliance was established to contest parliamentary elections planned for October 1, 2022 and is made up of the Liepāja city-based Liepāja Party (LP), the Latvian Green Party (Latvijas Zaļā partija, LZP), and the Latvian Regional Alliance (Latvijas Reģionu apvienība, LRA). Alliance was formed by entrepreneur and architect Uldis Pīlēns, who leads a group of "non-partisan professionals" eager to advance 'professionalism' in the Latvian government. Uldis Pīlēns was chosen as the alliance leader and its candidate for prime minister. Union has four seats in the 100-seat Saeima [Apvienotais saraksts (AS)]. |
