| Description | Left-of-center party which calls itself both "libertarian and universalist." Party had begun as a confederation of Spanish green parties, which included Los Verdes de Andalucía, Partido Verde Canario, Los Verdes de Asturias, Euskadi Berdeak, Los Verdes Aragon, Green Coordinator of Madrid, Los Verdes de Extremadura, Los Verdes de Murcia, Els Verds de Mallorca, Els Verds de Menorca, and Los Verdes de Segovia. Confederation on September 25, 2010 was abandoned and combined with the Equo Foundation to form Los Verdes Equo (LVE), but the rump of the organization decided not to dissolve and began to compete on its own in regional elections as Los Verdes (LV). |
