Description | (ANSAmed) - TUNIS, OCTOBER 21 - The Choura council (directors) of Tunisia's Islamic party Ennahda decided after a two-day meeting that the next government's prime minister will come from their party, said Ennahda President Abdelkerim Harouni.
Harouni said the chosen person will be tasked with forming a government of "national responsibility".
Ennahda received 23.94% of the vote in the October 6 legislative elections in Tunisia, for a total of 52 out of 217 seats in parliament. |
