| Description | The youth wing of Belgium's right-wing nationalist New Flemish Alliance (N-VA) offered to sell the country's French-speaking region of Wallonia to U.S. President Donald Trump for €1.
Following Wednesday's news that the U.S. president cancelled his upcoming visit to Denmark because the country was not willing to sell him Greenland, the youth branch of the N-VA, which wants a separate Flemish state, wrote on Twitter: "Dear President, one Euro and Wallonia is yours. Call us." Trump was tagged in the post but so far hasn't responded. |
