| Description | State Auditor Tom Schweich was taken to a St. Louis-area hospital Thursday after what his office described as "a medical situation" that occurred at his home in Clayton.
A police source said Schweich had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but the statement from Schweich's office said only that he was being treated. |
