Description | Belmont, Mass. — On Election Day in Belmont, Democratic candidate for State Representative in the 24th Middlesex District David Rogers of Cambridge received the most votes from Belmont, Arlington and Cambridge, for a total of 6,292 votes
The other two candidates, Independent Jim Gammill of Belmont and Republican Tommasina Olson of Belmont and came in second and third, respectively. Olson received a total of 3,292 votes between Arlington, Cambridge and Belmont. Gammill received a total of 3,640 votes.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to be of service. I’m grateful to the voters for putting their trust in me," said Rogers at his Campaign headquarters in Cambridge on election night.
