Description | Republican Jason Plummer isn't ready to concede the race in the 12th Congressional District in Southern Illinois just yet.
The Associated Press declared former state National Guard chief Bill Enyart the winner in the district. But when reached for comment, Plummer's campaign manager says that it was far too early to concede.
Philip Lasseigne says there are many precincts that have not been counted and that Plummer thinks he owes it to the people of the region to hold off on any concession until those votes are counted. |
